I am a diabetic, diagnosed some twelve years ago. With good quality information (like the ones you will find on this site) on healthy eating, alternative medicine, natural healing, raw diet, exercise, etc. and a determination to beat this disease, I have been able to completely reverse my diabetes now. It's certainly not rocket science and if I can do it, I am sure you can achieve the same results if only you are prepared to give it a good go!

Diabetes that is uncontrolled can lead to all kinds of other health problems ie kidney failure, blindness, congestive heart failure and hardening of the arteries. I know from experience with my sister that these things can happen.

Excess glucose interfers with lipid and related (fats/cholesterol) “substances” metabolism with an increased depostion of fat in blood vessels as “atheromatous plaques”.
These can then either block and cause “occlusive disease” or fragment and cause “embolic disease” or damage vessel walls and lead to “aneurysmal/haemorrhagic disease”

It’s thickening of artery walls constant high level of glucose in the blood stream speeds it up.
